VectorCSP Sr Acquisition Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Summary:

The United State s Coast Guard (USCG) require s support to facilitate Program Management Office (PMO) programmatic, financial, systems engineering, logistics , configuration management, administrative, and documentation support. The USCG is currently supporting multiple ship acquisition programs (OPC, PSC, WCC, DOMICE) and this support will provide the acquisition expertise to support those efforts.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Seven years demonstrated experience supporting Major Surface Acquisition Program(s) or project management professional certification (PMP), or equivalent.

  • S even years of experience involving development of maintenance and support specifications, contract data requirements lists (CDRL), statements of work (SOW), engineering change proposals (ECP), SOPs, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and policies and procedures.

  • F ive years of experience managing logistics , engineering, and configuration management personnel for a Major Surface Acquisition Progra m

    Essential Duties: The acquisition manager will support applicable ship acquisition program by:

  • Leading team of personnel supporting all facets of USCG ship acquisition program

  • Conduct ing quantitative analyses of information affecting USCG investment programs

  • Developing maintenance and support specifications, contract data requirements lists (CDRL), statements of work (SOW), engineering change proposals (ECP), standard operating procedures ( SOPs ) , Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and policies and procedures.

  • P reparation, coordination, and development of acquisition briefs, documentation, reports, analyses, and other deliverables as required .

    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Experience with any of the USCG PSC, OPC, and/or WCC is desire

  • P roficient with MS Office products , specifically Access, Project, and Excel.

  • E xperience developing, implementing, and testing SharePoint sites and creating and managing workflows in SharePoint.
