Description: Reviewing, editing, and following test procedures and processes. Operation of test facility and ground support equipment. Working with engineers on design concepts and facility improvements. Planning and executing assembly for complex mechanical systems. Safely working with hazardous chemicals and high-pressure systems. Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to promote workplace safety. Requirements:

• 5 years of experience.

• Experience working with test and flight safety critical hardware.

• Ability to work with standard mechanical tools and shop fabrication equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.

• Ability to lift 40 lbs.; work in adverse weather conditions; climb stairs and ladders

• Application of thermal protection systems (TPS) onto New Glenn flight hardware

• Performing surface preparation, fixturing, adhesive application, gap filling, and vacuum bagging of large structures

• High School diploma or GED

• 2+ years of experience in aerospace thermal protection applications

• Expertise in one or more of the following: primer/topcoat spray-out and hand application, spray/molded foam insulation applications, conversion coating applications, sealant applications, adhesive bonding, RTV bonding of TPS, ablative TPS materials, foam insulation applications, pressure sensitive adhesive applications, vacuum bagging, thermal blankets, applying sealants, conversion coatings, primers, adhesives, and other special finishes

• Knowledge of safety procedures for chemicals handling

• Must be able to be respirator qualified
