Amazon Investigation Associate (6-month contract) in Virtual, Philippines
Description
Amazon Philippines is hiring analytical candidates with a strong performance history to join the Seller Experience Protection Operations Team in Manila. Responsibilities include investigating and mitigating e-commerce risks. Ideal candidates have experience in e-commerce payments and trust and safety, with a customer-focused mindset.
The Investigations Associate role requires sound judgment, individual problem-solving, and analytical skills to authenticate customers and transactions. This position operates with minimal supervision and requires decision-making autonomy and accuracy.
The role involves proactive engagement with team members, leads, management, and third-party vendors to achieve goals. Performance will be assessed based on productivity, quality assurance, and contribution to departmental development.
Key job responsibilities
Identify underlying issues of various cases and claims of Amazon Vendor products.
Utilize Amazon's internal tools to view and analyze product issues.
Proactively collaborate with Business Leaders and Team members on a weekly basis for process alignments and updates.
Generate reports on the number of cases and claims resolved per day/per week.
A day in the life
Working Conditions:
Onsite training for the first 45 days at the Pasay office, near MOA
The candidate will work from home after the onsite training period
Work is 40 hours per week, Mondays - Fridays.
Shift hours: 10:30am - 7:30 pm, Philippines Time

Basic Qualifications
• Holds at least a high school equivalent diploma
• Good written and spoken English skills and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex transactional issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems logically • Self disciplined, diligent, proactive and detail-oriented
• Strong time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Comfortable working MS tools and using basic level of automation
• Experience in fields such as Investigations/Payments/Security or Banking domain
• Intermediate knowledge of E-commerce
• Able to start by July 1, 2024
