Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist in Malta

We are currently recruiting for an Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist at our Malta branch that will be responsible for to ensuring the department delivers excellent customer service while developing and engaging the team to higher levels of performance. This is a great opportunity to join one of the leading global air logistics forwarders.

Your Role

A key part of the Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist involves a strong influencing style with key internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible to deliver operational excellence while continuously optimising the cost of production, develop air logistics import/export operations, and enhance operational capabilities. The role will involve interaction with all level of employees across all Kuehne + Nagel Ireland branches as well developing strong relationships.

Your Responsibilities

  • Full management of air freight traffic.

  • Interlocution with other departments, offices, suppliers and clients.

  • Proactive engagement and planning to limit any risks of delays/issues for the customer.

  • Participation in the department's own projects related to the optimisation of operational processes.

  • Assume and promote the Company's Compliance and Data Confidentiality programmes for all matters concerning the position.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Used to work Maintaining and/or implementing good working practices & procedures to ensure that the department run efficiently and with professionalism.

  • Pro-actively look for continuous improvement with the department to ultimately provide the customer with an efficient and professional service.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to escalate internally in a correct manner. Strong written communication skills are crucial.

  • A hands-on approach with the ability to maintain priorities and deadlines.

  • Keen Awareness to the Cost of Quality to an Organisation

  • Delivering excellence in quality and customer service
