Rincon Consultants Senior Proposal & Marketing Coordinator in Various Locations, California

Rincon Consultants, Inc. is seeking an organized Senior Marketing Coordinator who will be primarily responsible for coordinating and implementing of marketing projects which includes preparation of proposals and statement of qualifications, interview presentations, resource materials, and reports. As part of the marketing team this person will collaborate with different departments and staff of all levels. We are looking for someone who is as passionate about our work within the A/E/C industry and has the skills and attitude to be successful.

The Marketing Team takes pride in championing Rincon's people-centric culture, fostering sustained success for both individuals and the collective team. This position allows you to work from any of our 13 office locations, and also provides the potential for a hybrid/remote work arrangement within California.

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proposal writing, strategy, and development for a variety of services and business sectors

  • Work with key business development leaders to coordinate and support client/project/market capture plans

  • Support lead vetting and distribution

  • Work closely with our technical staff and leadership to create compelling and strategic pursuits and messaging that convey Rincon’s strengths to best set us apart

  • Lead and coordinate all phases of the proposal process from go/no-go decisions through interviews

  • Work with creative services team to fulfill the development of marketing materials including, brochures, interviews, and company graphics

  • Work with key business development leaders to coordinate strategic materials and other communications in alignment with the Rincon brand

  • Maintain Rincon’s internal systems for information management related to people and projects, pursuits, and promotional activity

  • Participate in strategic planning for pursuits, marketing, and business development efforts

  • Coordinate special projects/events, as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

This Job Might Be For You If You Have The Following:

  • BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or an equivalent level of experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in marketing, advertising, or related field, or in a professional services environment

  • Experience in the Environmental/Architecture/Engineering/Construction or other professional services industry is preferred

  • Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently; seek help as needed and contribute to team and company culture

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Outlook, Smartsheet, Excel)

  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite in order to develop graphics, provide creative direction, and review graphic design assets

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and to manage multiple projects, deadlines, priorities, and teams

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Creative thinker with a positive attitude who enjoys a challenge and finding solutions

The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000-$95,000, plus benefits and bonus. At Rincon, our salary ranges are based on market median of similar jobs, according to third party salary benchmark surveys. The base pay that is actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
