Subcontracts Administrator II
Under very general supervision, responsible for preparation and administration of subcontracts, task orders and subsequent amendments consistent with client requirements, government regulations and procurement policies/procedures. Participates in teaming arrangements and strategic marketing alliances between company and outside sources Reviews client solicitations and provides recommendations regarding outsourcing requirements to business management proposal team. Tasks include the negotiation of terms and conditions, analyses of price and creation of the subcontract document; monitoring subcontractor's performance, managing deliverables and payment of invoices. Keeps fully informed on all subcontract standards, plans and policies. Prepares and supports subcontract negotiations. Maintains contact with managers regarding the performance of subcontract negotiation, preparation and monitoring. Prepares and disseminates information regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination. May be assigned higher value tasks with oversight from more senior level staff.
Requires knowledge of business principles in areas such as procurement, business and contracts law, accounting and standard operating procedures and the ability to perform non- routine job requirements within the scope of the position with minimal supervision. Requires experience in procurement and related functions with emphasis on negotiation and contract administration.
Detail oriented and organized. Able to read, understand and develop subcontracts, task orders and other documents and ensure accuracy.
Bachelor's degree in related discipline
Minimum two (2) years’ directly related experience in a government contracting environment preferred
Experience in contract administration in the United Nations is highly desirable
Specific Skills: Extensive experience with Microsoft Office software to include: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Projects.
Highly Desirable Skills/Qualifications
Written and verbal fluency in French or Arabic
Prior experience with international procurement activities performed in conflict and post-conflict regions of the world
Proficiency in the CostPoint ERP platform
