Job Title: **File Clerk

Must have the following to apply:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a file clerk in the legal industry
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as electronic document management systems; File Site experience a plus
  • Organizational and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

**Job Description: The company is seeking a File Clerk for its Tampa office.

Duties and Responsibility:**

  • Assist with maintaining and updating client's files and records on a daily basis
  • Electronic filing of legal documents within the firms document management system
  • Responsible for opening files for new client matters
  • Scanning client files/ records into the firms document management system
  • Assist with closing out client files and records, following the firms closing procedures
  • Provide Reception relief for Receptionist as needed
  • Back-up other File Clerks when needed
