Google Senior Product Manager, Google Compute Engine, Virtual Machines in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in product management, co-founder or related technical role.

  • 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

  • Experience developing or launching products/technologies within Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in compute architecture, Cloud and data center infrastructure, Arm-based CPUs, I/O technologies, attached storage, or the operational aspects of Cloud services.

  • Experience building product strategy, definition, and go-to-market plans and bringing innovative tech products to scale.

  • Knowledge of key enterprise workload requirements and their demands on the underlying compute, storage, and networking infrastructure.

  • Ability to communicate and influence decisions cross-functionally and at all levels of an organization.

In this role, the team brings compute innovations and technology to the global market, using ML/AI to better serve customers' with new experiences and optimizations, and help customers migrate, manage, and modernize their IT environment at scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Build product strategy and definition for Arm-based VM instances, including owning the associated business outcomes and driving alignment across key stakeholders in Google Cloud.

  • Manage new technology and roadmap planning, business forecasting, and ecosystem and customer adoption.

  • Work across hardware and software engineering, finance, product, marketing, capacity, supply, and operations teams to deliver on product goals and new product introductions.

  • Define and drive VM go-to-market strategies and plans to deliver product launches.

  • Understand and build internal alignment on the dynamics and industry trends on innovations in workloads, infrastructure services, and hardware.
