Superior Iron Works, Inc. is a growing AISC certified miscellaneous metals/ structural steel fabricator and erector in the DC, VA and MD areas. We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager with excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills. We are looking for one individual who can perform the following:

• Process and review GC RFIs
• Submit and track shop drawings
• Create and submit internal RFIs to GC
• Create LEED submittals
• Help project manager to monitor project budget and job cost codes
• Create sketches for fabrication
• Assist with creating proposals
• Must be able to visit job sites within the DC area when necessary for meetings (if virtual meetings are not offered)
• Must have excellent computer experience and be highly organized
• Steel construction experience preferred ( knowledge of specifications, codes and reading contract drawings)
