Our client, a leading consumer goods company, is seeking a Microbiology Lab Technician to join their growing team!

In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of their well-known household products.

Job Title: Microbiology Lab Technician

Location: Stamford, CT

Pay Range: $ 22-25/hr

What’s the Job?

• Perform a variety of standard microbiological tests, including preservative effectiveness, microbial limits, and time-kill kinetics.

• Prepare large quantities of microbiological media to support testing needs.

• Safely handle live microorganisms and utilize an autoclave following established protocols.

• Wash and maintain laboratory equipment.

• Record and report test results accurately.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Prior experience working in a microbiology lab is a plus.

• A degree in Microbiology or coursework in progress is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following established procedures.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
