Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST (SUPERINTENDENT), Position Description Number D2897000 and is part of the 109TH AW, National Guard. THIS IS AN INDEFINITE POSITION WITH POTENTIAL TO CONVERT TO PERMANENT. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Responsibilities As a INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST (SUPERINTENDENT), GS-1801-12, you will oversee various complex IG activities, develops policy, and advises the Wing IG on effectively implementing The Inspection System, to include the Commanders' Inspection Programs (CCIP), as well as the Complaints Resolution, and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) Programs. Work products impact a wide range of agency activities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Knowledge or experience of an administrative nature, which involves the exercise of analytical ability, judgement, discretion, and personal responsibility, and application of a substantial body of knowledge of principles, concepts, and practices applicable to one or more fields of administration or management. Experience with supervising, leading, or performing inspection, investigation, enforcement, or compliance work. Education Education requirements - Not applicable for this position Additional Information Superior Qualifications and Special Needs Pay-setting Authority may be considered for this position. TAG is final approval authority for incentive programs (applicable to newly appointed federal employees or those with a 90 day break in service). IAW AF guidance, incumbent must complete the wing Inspector general training course instpections within 180 days of appointment; must complete inspector general training course complaints resoution within 180 days of appointment; and IG appointees for nuclear-capapble units will complete the USAF Nuclear inspector course within 180 day of assignment.
