Robert Half Receptionist in Richmond, Virginia

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Bilingual Receptionist role in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. The role primarily involves managing communication channels, greeting visitors, and performing light administrative duties in a fast-paced environment. While Spanish language proficiency is a key requirement for this role, the successful candidate will also be well-versed in various data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the phone lines, including answering calls, routing calls to the appropriate personnel, and taking messages when necessary

• Greeting visitors in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression for the company

• Performing various administrative duties, such as filing, faxing, and photocopying documents

• Proficiently translating and communicating in Spanish, both written and verbal, as part of day-to-day operations

• Completing data entry tasks efficiently, including inputting information into the company database and maintaining accurate records

• Managing a multi-line phone system, ensuring all calls are attended to in a timely and professional manner

• Responding to high-volume data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency

• Assisting in other receptionist duties as needed or directed by management. Requirements • Proven experience as a receptionist or similar administrative role for at least 2 years

• Proficiency in Spanish language, including translation skills

• Experience with answering multi-line phone systems

• Proficiency in computer data entry and high-volume data entry

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite or similar software

• High school diploma or equivalent education level

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Availability to work standard business hours with occasional overtime as needed.
