Microsoft Corporation Principal Lead Product Manager in Redmond, Washington

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Protect team in Microsoft Data Security and Resilience (DSR) is looking for a Principal Lead Product Manager to drive our Identity and Access Management (IAM) charter forward. In this highly visible role, you will combine technical depth with deep security solutions to stay a step ahead of the attackers. You will be collaborating across Microsoft organizations on defining cutting edge IAM solutions for protecting Microsoft production services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Identity and Secrets Management space with a goal to define a Microsoft-wide vision.

  • Create a prioritized roadmap of product work needed to support the multitude of Microsoft365 services.

  • Model, coach and care for the PMs on your team. Providing opportunities and supporting them as they deliver impactful work.

  • Collaborate closely with security teams across Microsoft to roll out the latest security policies with the right level of automation and enforcement.

  • Define key success metrics and craft data-focused tracking of security health and product adoption.

  • Report on status in various EVP/CVP reviews as well as partner briefings.

  • Take personal accountability for end-to-end quality, craftsmanship & completeness.

  • Work across organizations/divisions, and bringing people together to achieve the goal.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product management

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in security program management, with a focus on access management.  

  • Experience with products such as Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Entra Privileged Identity Management, Microsoft Entra Application lifecycle.

  • Knowledge of concepts, principles, and technologies, in areas such as identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), privileged access management (PAM), multifactor authentication (MFA) etc.

  • Ability to influence and drive strategy across a large organization.

Product Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
