Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Summary:

The Electrical Helper is a Maintenance Department position. The state of Maine defines a helper electrician as, “a person making electrical installations in the employment of a master electrician, limited electrician or electrical company and under the direct supervision of a master, journeyman or limited electrician.” Duties included but not limited to installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of electrical devices and systems. Other responsibilities: may need to assist maintenance staff on duty to complete task that take precedence.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned Electrician’s tasked in the time schedule.

  • Cleanup at job completion to include area, tools and return of supplies to appropriate locations.

  • Assist the full time Maintenance Department staff if needed.
