Job Description:

As a Journeyman / Master Electrician you will play a crucial role in our team, responsible for a wide range of electrical tasks, including panel swap outs, new build wiring, service and repair. The ideal candidate should also be proficient in preparing accurate estimates and takeoffs, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Panel Swap Outs: Perform panel upgrades and replacements in residential and commercial properties while ensuring adherence to safety codes and industry standards.

• New Build Wiring: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for new construction projects, ensuring all work complies with local regulations and blueprints.

• Service and Repair: Diagnose electrical problems, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions for repair and maintenance of electrical systems.

• Estimates: Independently prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and other associated expenses.

• Takeoffs: Conduct takeoffs from architectural and electrical plans for the purposes of creating purchase orders, managing inventory, and ensuring that all required materials and labor are accounted for in the project plan. 

• Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with local electrical codes and regulations while prioritizing safety for both yourself and the team.

• Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer questions, and provide updates on project progress. Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

• Documentation: Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked for each project. Submit necessary reports to management as required.

• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, apprentices, and contractors to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.

• Tools and Equipment: Maintain, organize, and care for all tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

  Qualifications:

• Journeyman or Master Electrician experience: If you currently or have ever held a Electrical (K-11) license this is a big plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience: Proven experience in panel swap outs, new build wiring, service and repair projects.

• Estimation and Takeoff Skills: Proficient in independently preparing accurate project estimates and conducting takeoffs from plans. Must be prepared to show

• Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions.

• Safety-Conscious: Prioritize safety protocols and practices at all times.

• Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team and provide mentorship to apprentices.

• Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
