JHNA Technology Security is currently seeking aTechnical Writer/Editorto support our government customer at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD.The position is not open to remote work due to the nature of the work.

The Technical Writer/Editor will support a Navy Virtual Systems Command with the development of instructions, manuals, guides, and templates. The Technical Writer/Editor will also support the review, comment, resolution, formatting and routing of various technical reports and studies, Contract Deliverables, proposals, white papers, and other documents as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, edit, format and route instructions, manuals, guides, templates, reports, studies, proposals, white papers, and other technical documents as assigned
• Ensure documents are properly marked with classification and handling instructions

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of experience with technical writing/editing and a high school diploma. An allowable substitution is 2 years of experience in technical writing/editing and an Associate's Degree.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office
• Top Secret Clearance
• Must be willing to travel quarterly for a week at a time
