Overview:

JHNA is currently seeking a Senior Configuration Management Analyst to perform configuration management functions on Aircraft or Weapons Systems. This position will support NAVAIR located at Patuxent River, MD.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• SSA CM Lead activities include verifying requirements for media builds to released engineering, test requirements or development requirements.
• Conduct media builds in prep for ongoing development or new builds for MOBs/FOBs and Air vehicles.
• Provide schedule inputs for media build times, from receipt of new media, ingestion into CROWBAR and duplication of media and Software.
• Review and Update the SSA Configuration Management Plan and ensure SSA CM Team members understand and follow the requirements.
• Developed new SSA CM templates and procedures to ensure a traceable and repeatable process.
• Report any issues that may delay schedule to the SSA Lead with a possible plan to ensure on time delivery.
• Support the Development Team with SW turnaround to be sent and received from outside vendors as a part of ongoing and future SW development.
• Ensure the Physical Media Database (JIRA) is properly maintained, newly received or newly developed SW has a unique identifier for tracking and checking out as required.
• Maintain a Physical Media Library, and direct and help conduct annual inventory audits by the SSA CM Team.
• Schedule and Facilitate Configuration Change Boards (CCB). Ensure all documents owners are prepared to present their documents and are ready for review by the required approvers. After completion of CCB route the final change documents for approval and place into the Documents Data Base. (Confluence).
• Review contract requirements to ensure GFX Delivery's for SW are completed within the timeframe as required by each contract.
• Develop and provide Media Delivery Notification Letters for media delivered to vendors or suppliers for either integration or test.
• Support the Navy Fleet with any required Software that is needed for repair or scheduled upgrades.
• Review TDs for accuracy for SW requirements and documentation requirements.

Qualifications Required:

• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in a Technical Discipline.
• At least five 10 years of experience in the configuration management process, which must include: configuration identification, configuration control, configuration audits and reviews, configuration status accounting, and experience with software development facilities, ancillary software testing, production, and operational use.
• At least (3) years of experience is required using configuration management software tools such as JIRA, Git, CVS, or Confluence
