V2X is making a difference by providing support to programs in the Effects Deployment Office (FXDO) of Precision Strike Weapons Program Office, PMA-201. This office is responsible for research, development, acquisition and sustainment of the Navy's air-to-ground precision guided weapons, general-purpose bombs, aircraft armament-related equipment, and all cartridge/propellant actuated devices. The FXDO is responsible for the development of new programs.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Program Risk Management Analyst who is familiar with Navy Acquisition Processes and has experience with DoD Instruction 5000.02 and with Navy Weapons Systems. The Program Risk Management Analyst will work closely with the FXDO Integrated Program Team Lead (IPTL) as well as other engineers and analysts to manage the program risks of developing Navy Weapons Systems. The candidate must have significant risk management experience, be team-oriented, with the ability to communicate effectively, resolve conflict in a constructive manner, and produce quality products efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage risk tools for effective us by teams.

• Manages the risk process for multiple large programs.

• Serves as advisor at IPT and program RMB meetings.

• Maintains the PRP and risk register.

• Provides risk management training.

• Facilitate Working Groups with IPT/Teams to capture new risk, issues and opportunities, and update Mitigation, Corrective Action, and/or Opportunity Management Plans.

• Completes an initial screening of risks, issues and opportunities.

• Prepares risk briefings, reports, and documents required for program reviews.

Qualifications

Required:

• Education/ Experience

• BS or BA degree from an accredited college or more than 6 years of recent and relevant experience.

• 4+ years experience Program Risk Management Experience

• Active US DoD Top Secret Clearance

  Desired:

• 4+ years experience Navy Acquisition Processes/DoD Instruction 5000.02

• 4+ years experience Navy Weapons Systems Acquisition

• Highly motivated and capable of working in a dynamic and fast-paced, schedule constrained, and complex security environment

• Team-oriented self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively, resolve conflict in a constructive manner, and produce quality products efficiently

• Strong conceptual thinking and innovation skills

• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and public presentation skills
