Description

Robert Half is actively seeking a driven and highly-skilled Benefits Manager for our esteemed client. This is a contract to hire role that involves managing a wide range of employee health and welfare programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will plan, organize, direct and evaluate the employee health and welfare programs which includes medical, dental, vision, life, leave programs, flexible benefits plans and disability insurance.

  • Be at the forefront of all new benefits-related laws and regulations and implement these in the organization.

  • Participate in Union negotiations, plan maintenance, improvements and health benefits policy development.

  • Oversee ACA compliance, self-insured benefit programs reporting, benefits deductions, and employer contributions.

  • Cultivate effective relationships with third parties ensuring service level agreements are met and ensuring compliance with negotiated contracts.

  • Lead the short-term leave program in line with federal and state laws.

  • Provide leadership to benefits staff; participate in hiring and overseeing their work.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar benefits administrator or manager role.

  • Strong knowledge of benefits-related laws and regulations.

  • Exceptional leadership and motivational abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills.
