Your Team & Role
As a Specialist, Systems Development in the Identity Governance and Administration team, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to improve Prudentials Identity Management platform. An important function is to ensure the Identity Governance platforms remain in compliance with the Information Security Standards and processes. You will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong technical insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.

Qualifications:
Ability to learn and apply new technologies, while working in partnership with other areas to capture and collaborate on business system requirements.
Must be able to work within a team context as well as independently.
Programming experience with BeanShell
Knowledge of Git code repository
Experience with databases and writing SQL code.
Programming experience with Java, including JSP programming.
Familiarity with configuration of complex application server systems. (e.g., Tomcat,) or developing applications using these technologies.
Demonstrated experiences in managing multiple priorities. Ability to troubleshoot and perform technical duties on multiple projects concurrently.
Good oral and written communication skills, familiarity with enterprise business tools such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Office 365
BS in Computer Science or IT degree

Pluses:
Programming of web-based applications required, knowledge of how web services, REST APIs, JSON, etc. work and how to use them
Use of DBMS tools such as Squirrel or DBVisualizer
Usability engineering and experience with GUI design
AWS Tools
Website / Portal development
Familiarity with enterprise scale RDBMS (Oracle) and writing complex SQL.
Knowledge of file i/o handling, understanding of OS command line for Unix/Linux
Creating cron batch processes, automation techniques and maintenance processes, etc.
Proven user experiences in Unix/Linux systems and developing ad-hoc scripting using languages such as PowerShell, etc.
Understanding of OS (operating system) services, registry settings, and group / local / global policy for Unix, Linux and Windows server operating systems.
Experience with ServiceNow and ServiceNow APIs

Major Plus:
Experience with SailPoint products including Identity IQ / AI and FAM.
Engineering access governance systems, user identity provisioning, account access controls and/or associated technology processes, such as ForgeRock IDM or similar access request and identity management tools.
Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $97,300.00 to $144,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
