Position Summary:

The College of Western Idaho seeks a Program Marketing Manager to communicate the distinctiveness and quality of CWI’s 100+ academic programs, bringing awareness to the diverse offerings and driving prospective students towards enrollment. Responsibilities include strategic marketing, project management, and collaboration with internal stakeholders. The role involves launching new programs, supporting strategic recruitment for existing programs, and ensuring alignment across instructional and functional departments. At a macro-level, the Program Marketing Manager will stay updated on higher education trends to maintain competitiveness in marketing strategies. At a micro-level, they will emphasize individual program messaging while promoting CWI's mission of affordability, accessibility, and employability.

Essential Functions:

• Manage marketing initiatives for academic programs, prioritizing institutional goals and program launches to attract prospective students.

• Collaborate with academic departments to determine support needs for strategic enrollment.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive program marketing calendar based on institutional and academic priorities.

• Provide leadership and creative direction for new program launches and communications.

• Utilize design templates for content creation and publishing.

• Serve as the main point of contact for academic program communication within the marketing team.

• Establish sustainable and collaborative processes with academic partners for annual marketing and enrollment support.

• Lead marketing plan development, including positioning, messaging, and channel strategy.

• Curate content to drive social media engagement.

• Strategically identify and coordinate community engagement and event participation for program promotion and visibility.

• Collaborate with marketing counterparts to optimize strategies and execution.

• Analyze the effectiveness of program initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in product/program marketing.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

• Experience with project management tools like Asana and Airtable.

• Previous experience managing direct reports.

• Exceptional presentation skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with autonomy.

• Results-driven mindset with a passion for education.

• Willingness to travel locally and attend events as required.
