HVAC Supervisor (Master License)

  • Some of the main responsibilities include:

  • Willassume complete responsibility for installation and repair of all HVAC equipment related operation and maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair and installation.

  • Will report to the Site's Operations &Maintenance Manager.

  • Will operate, maintain and repair site HVAC systems including: air-cooled chillers, Direct Exchange units, air handling units, filters and Chemical Biological filters, ductwork, dampers, actuators, fans, cold water lines, heating and cooling units, fan coil units, electric reheats, diffusers, vents, VAV boxes, exhaust fans, supply fans, smoke exhaust fans, fresh air ducts, control valves, cooling coils and ventilation systems for laundry rooms, kitchens and rest rooms.

  • Responsible for scheduling personnel, including shifts and rotations, to maintain acceptable levels of service at all times;

  • Assign tasks, establish and enforce standards of conduct and performance in the work environment;

  • Inspect and audit work in process and completed work to ensure completed work meets applicable codes, quality standards and customer satisfaction

  • Manage tools and inventory to ensure proper accountability and adequate supply levels to meet routine operational needs and reasonable surges and non-routine requests - Completes quantitative and qualitative reports

  • Provide verbal and written input on policies, plans and procedures, and other administrative tasks

  • Responsible for mounting compressors, condenser units and air handling units, following blueprints, engineering specifications and manufacturer's recommendations

  • Responsible for facility custodianship of work area and management of tools, equipment and spare parts for the HVAC operation

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

  • Additional Job DescriptionAdditional Job Description Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Must have an HVAC Mechanic Vocational Diploma or completed an apprentice program with a Journeyman Certificate and achieved Master HVAC Technician qualification.

  • Must have two years experience as a Master HVAC Mechanic or 10 years of experience as a Journeyman HVAC Mechanic.

  • Knowledge of applicable US Codes and acceptable trade practices is required.

  • Experience in a desert climate is highly desirable

  • An active DOD or DOS Secret clearance is required by the position

  • Must maintain eligibility at the required security level for the duration of the contract

  • US Citizenship is required to possess current Clearance

  • Professional English communication skills are required,

  • Favorable passage of a drug screen and physical examination is required.

  • Experience with a multi-national workforce in an overseas environment is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of ALL principles and processes involved in operating and supporting supervisory HVAC functions at an overseas desert facility is required.

  • Excellent customer services is required,

  • Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules

  • Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective is required

  • Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel are required
