Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Senior Security Coordinator to coordinate and administer all pre-employment fingerprinting. In addition, this position will be responsible for assisting the Director of Corporate Security with any security related initiatives. In addition, this position will be responsible for assisting the Director of Corporate Security with any security related initiatives. Essential roles and responsibilities of a Senior Security Coordinator: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Coordinates and administers pre-employment fingerprint based criminal history background checks for security sensitive positions. Process MSP APD and Customs Border Patrol (CBP) Clearance Notifications Effectively interpret TSA regulations as it pertains to CHRC retention, fingerprint based criminal history background checks. Effectively interprets and administers Sun Country's ID Media policy. Completes a required Badge Audit of all SY blue badge holders to ensure we are under a 5% threshold. Coordinate the completion of quarterly SIDA Airport Badge audits established by the MSP Metropolitan Airport Commission (MAC). Coordinate all aspects of the SIDA and SY Blue Badge Termination Process Complete grid report to track statistics of terminations Master Book Process Sanction issuances and coordinate communication and employee Coordinates the completion of Customs Border Patrol (CBP) quarterly audit established by the CBP as it relates to airport security. Manage MSP APD and Customs Border Patrol (CBP) Clearance Notifications. Administers pre-adverse and adverse action resulting from pre-employment fingerprint based criminal history background checks. Effectively interpret FBI privacy rights as it pertains to fingerprint-based background checks and administer paperwork to standards. Coordinate all aspects of badge renewal in compliance with TSA and Sun Country policies. Responsible for implementation of the TSA RAP Back Program and serves as the required TSA Supervisor over the program. Along with the IT department, coordinate badging for contractors of Sun Country; determining proper door access. Manage and conduct liaison with the MSP SIDA Badging Office regarding SIDA Swipe Report requests, in support of SCA/MSP Operations fraud detection and employee accountability (Increased Responsibility). Conduct MSP SIDA-controlled door key reclamations and accountability Coordinate along with IT security access for Sun Country employees to various Sun Country properties. Assist with the administering of the Internal "No Fly List" within Sun Country Airlines Assist in any audits within the security function to ensure s curity compliance. Maintain reports and audits retention. Extensive interaction with employees, visitors, contractors, and all levels of management, will serve as the subject matter expert and resolve all inquiries for various levels. Support security staff continuous efforts to ensure compliance with established company, government, customer regulations and policies and procedures. Assist with the coordination and facilitation of the administration of all Sun Country security policies. Schedule badging appointments for SIDA/CBP Other duties may be assigned by supervisor. The qualifications we are looking for in a Senior Security Coordinator include: High School Degree or equivalent, or airline experience and other training certificates may be substituted. Effective communication and organizational competencies Minimum two years experience in security coordinator role. Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with program management, government, and security team members. Technical capabilities Knowledgeable of Microsoft Suite to include Excel, Word, PPT, etc. Ability to reconcile data within an Excel spreadsheet. Proven ethical conduct. Attends and completes authorized signer training for MAC (Metropolitan Airport Commission) Experience with Part 121 airline industry security regulations, specifically around RAP Back PREFERRED SKILLS Previous experience with airline industry security regulation ADDITIONAL NOTES: Must be able to obtain SIDA Badge Sun County Airlines respects and values every employee's contribution to our business.
