Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring Maintenance Technician (Electrician) to work with a local manufacturing facility in Memphis, TN with a starting pay of $30.00-$38.00/hour based on experience and skillset. These positions are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment. Shift available is a 12 hour shift from 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am Monday through Friday

Description:

Clock in and discuss what needs to be worked on, gets with the team on these projects and the REACTIVE maintenance issues

Responsible for safely performing a wide range of maintenance and electrical duties to emergency and preventative repairs to plant machinery and infrastructure.

Will complete some daily PM's, but most maintenance is reactive. Could use help with PM program.

Electrical - VFD's, read and interpret blueprints and schematics, hydraulics,

Troubleshoot and repair PLC's, AC/DC power, cranes, shop blaster, slitter machine, painter, controls, 480V, hydraulics, pumps, valves, robotics, blades,

Experience with electrical cabinets and controls

Will be a lot of all hands on deck, reactive maintenance ("firefighting")

Change out lightings, basic facilities work, ballasts, plumbing, etc.
