Description

We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Maumee, Ohio. This role is crucial in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Working closely with our accounting team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial data, from reconciling bank statements to processing payroll. This is an opportunity to contribute to the financial health and success of our business.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process transactions related to accounts payable and receivable

• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management

• Conduct regular ledger maintenance

• Oversee billing functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing of customers

• Conduct regular financial analysis, preparing detailed reports and presentations for review

• Manage budgeting processes, comparing budgeted costs to actual costs

• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions

• Update and maintain the general ledger

• Coordination with staff to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines

• Generate financial reports for review regulatory authorities.

Requirements • Proficient in accounting functions

• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of bank reconciliations

• Familiarity with billing functions

• Ability to perform financial analysis

• Strong skills in budget management

• Basic bookkeeping knowledge
