We are looking for QAQC Manager who will be the representative of the project and has the responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system, including the coordination, performance, and execution of construction inspection services for the projects. The QA/QC Lead is responsible for assuring that the quality of the work meets or exceeds the project's contractual requirements.

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Implement the QA/QC management system at site and that the Contract quality requirement s are fully communicated to the Jacobs team

  • Coordinate quality inspections with Contractor, Subcontractors and vendors and coordinate all non-destructive testing on site

  • Coordinate with the Owner’s Representative on all quality matters

  • Review the Contractor, Supplier and Subcontractor’s specifications and undertake relevant training to the Site discipline inspectors

  • Review all Quality documents and complete Document Review Sheets for return to Contractor

  • Coordinate all receipt inspections

  • Verify that the quality related Site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards

  • Implement, manage, and participate in the Site internal and external Site audits

  • Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the Site discipline inspectors and perform Site observation of installed work (e.g., concrete, structural steel, process and mechanical piping, electrical, instrumentation, etc.)

  • Control all quality observations and nonconformance reports, recommend and implement corrective action based on policies, guidelines, and procedures

  • Compete Site quality control instructions and action remedial responses

  • Monitor the implementation of the approved Contractor’s Site QC Plan

  • Complete and coordinate the review and approval of Contractor QC technical submittals

  • Coordinate with the Construction Managers on all quality issues

  • Participate in the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects Contractor and Subcontractors QC personnel and review QA/QC weekly meetings

  • Manage and Update QA/QC program requirements and provide weekly QA/QC program updates to Owner

  • Other duties as assigned by Jacobs Management

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and have good experience in QAQC role

  • Previous experience working for a Consultant on an Owners Engineer project will be a distinct advantage.

  • Site experience working in power and LNG projects

  • Strong managerial and leadership skills.

  • Broad technical knowledge and hands on approach

  • Fluent in both written/verbal English communication skills
