Amazon Business Intelligence Engineer (L4), EU CF Process Engineering in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Are you interested in a high-impact role with exposure to senior leaders? The EU Process Engineering Team is seeking a customer-focused Business Intelligence Engineer with strong analytical and technical skills to drive performance measurement, innovation, and execution in Fulfillment Centre Operations. Collaborating closely with Amazon Fulfillment Center Operations and data teams, you will be responsible for developing analytics dashboards, deep-dive tools, and influencing product roadmaps using data, AWS services, and insights.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE I), your responsibilities include:

  1. Managing intake, coordinating, and gathering requirements from business partners to handle increased data volume and the demand for more cost-efficient and scalable pipelines and tech solutions.

  2. Prioritizing initiatives, Designing and implementing technical solutions with appropriate strategies and design principles.

  3. Driving best practices in Operational Excellence.

Ideal candidate: Strong in SQL, Redshift, metrics, ETL, tool development, cloud environments, and dashboarding. Python proficiency required; JavaScript preferred. Excels in translating customer needs into innovative BI solutions, passionate about leveraging data for informed decisions.

About the team

The EU PE is a group of Process Engineers located all over Europe. We are proudly part of the Ops team. Our aim is to eliminate processes variation across FCs, guiding, promoting and scaling at network level cutting edge best practices. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience building and maintaining basic data artifacts (e.g., ETL, data models, queries)

  • Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)

  • Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)

  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.

  • Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
