Software Test Engineer - Louisville, KY

Description:

Software Test engineer

• Interacts with other project members to determine best method for testing product, system or component

• Reads, analyzes and understands detailed specifications or product requirements

• Defines and implements test methods and develops test plan, including test case scenarios that will ensure product requirements are met, executing both manual tests and automated scripts, and logging defects in a problem tracking database

• Develop Automated Test Solutions to validate existing and new product functionality

• Develop and/or use existing testing APIs

• Identifies functional problems and suggests solutions

• Reports on a regular basis status’ and issues found through testing of product(s)

• Interprets and reviews test results with other members of the product and management team

• Provides initial time estimates and plans for own assignments

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• CS, CE or EE degree

• 2+ SW test experience

• Unix experience

• C+ Development experience

Experience Level:

Entry Level
