Job Description

Insight Global is currently seeking a fabricator for a contract to hire opportunity in the Louisville, KY area. This fabricator will join a team of 25 others. Responsibilities include using machine and hand tools to shape and assemble metal parts, interpreting detailed machine schematics and blueprints (both 2D and 3D), and inspecting/identifying faulty components and making the necessary repairs. This fabricator will spend most of their time trimming, cutting, and fitting components, flux core welding, mig welding, aligning components, and ensuring the quality of the final product. The ideal candidate will have a background working with many different products like steel, motors, reducers, etc.

Skills and Requirements

· 3+ years of fabricating in a manufacturing setting

 · 2+ years of mig and flux core welding experience

 · Professional working experience reading blueprints (2D drawings and 3D) · Personal tools (Safety equipment is provided)

 · Professional working experience with cold package drawings

Professional working experience with asphalt plant equipment null
