Paralegal opportunity with established tax and estate planning firm that caters to high-net worth international clientele. Robert Half is partnering with a prestigious firm based in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles that is looking for a paralegal to join its tenured team - including a firm dog!

This role is replacing a paralegal who is retiring after 20+ years with the firm because this is a place where people like to work and are treated well - including great benefits! This office has about 10 employees, and the attorneys and staff are a tight-knit group!

Responsibilities of Role:

• Within estate planning department, so anything related to EP, administration, post-mortem administration.

• A-Z administration of estate planning.

• Processing 706, 709 forms.

• Court filings relating to trusts.

• Drafting EP documents.

• Preparing asset lists.

• Analzying bank/business records.

• Trust funding.

• Probate court process.

• Calendaring.

• No requirement, but this paralegal will bill time.

Compensation:

• Salary range DOE, between 80-100k but they will go higher for somebody with substantial 706/709

• Discretionary bonuses given out for high productivity, paid throughout the year.

• Medical covered up to $450 for the employee and kick in 1st of the month after employment.

• Dental & vision plans available.

• Three weeks of vacation, which rolls over (up to a cap).

• 6 sick days per year.

• 401k up to 5%

  Requirements

• Certified Paralegal

• At least 3 years of experience in estate planning.

• Commutable to Miracle Mile as this is a fully onsite role.

• Experience working with 706 and 709 forms is a must!!
