Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Island Park, New York

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Oceanside, New York. This role focuses on managing and overseeing various HR functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with payroll processing using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Aid in the management of prevailing wage, onboarding, timesheets, and reconciliation

• Handle various Human Resources and administrative projects as needed

• Manage and oversee HRMS and Compensation Administration

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

• Foster positive Employee Relations and address any issues that may arise

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives in line with the overall business strategy

• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues

• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Human Resources Management role

• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with HRMS systems

• Experience in handling Benefit Functions within an organization

• Knowledge in Compensation Administration and Compliance

• Proven track record in managing Employee Relations effectively

• Ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues

• Experience in managing the recruitment and selection process

• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

• Maintain pay plan and benefits program

• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics

• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
