What you’ll do:

• Understand customer order requirements and prepare Electrical schematic , OGA/IGA drawings, special wiring & control schematic.

• Able to perform electrical calculation for selecting required switchgear , cable & enclosure sizing for Electrical products required for Hazardous locations..

• Act as order technical lead for Eaton GEIS power distribution product sales and shop floor people to clarify order special electrical & Mechanical requirements.

• Coordinate with customer sales representative and outside distributor for technical clarification and Interpretation.

• Having hands on experience on working on Hazardous location Electrical power distribution systems like Panelboards, Junction/Terminal boxes etc."

• Hands on design experience of Electrical & Mechanical enclosure designs for low voltage electrical power distribution equipment like Panelboards, Distribution boards , PCC, MCC, Junctions & control stations.

• Hands on and practical experience in calculations and selections of different switchgears required for Electrical panels , Cable sizing & routing (Cable bending/Cable entry understanding , enclosure selection, protection relays, CT’s & PT’s.

• Develops a variety of complex drawings (Electrical +Mechanical) and bills-of-material based upon established product designs for GEIS product line.

• Experienced or Knowledge in using different NEMA/UL/NEC/IEC Standards while designing power distribution enclosures for hazardous locations.

• Coordinates mechanical and electrical interfaces with other Eaton GEIS products design team.

• Selects engineering techniques to solve problems and make required design recommendations to Eaton sales & stakeholders team in USA.

• Provide technical assistance to sales and Manufacturing shop floor for smoother execution of orders on the floor.

• Electrotechnical concept design experience with respective to enclosure assembly (front, side door, Internal component mounting plate, Gland plates etc.).

• Aware of six sigma and continuous improvement tools & technologies for process and quality improvements.

• Possesses strong computer skills and proficiency with AutoCAD, Solidworks and other Electrical Engineering/Business software applications.

• Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications:

BE /Diploma - Electrical/ Mechnical

1 to 5 Years Electrical panel designs experience
