Title: Contract Specialist/Paralegal

Our client is a leading real estate developer specializing in providing high-quality construction services, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and client satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Contract Services Paralegal to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Contract Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal and contracting processes. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of subcontract addendums/riders, monitoring and maintaining general contractor's licenses, processing/redacting/distributing signed contracts, and aiding in the preparation of various legal documents related to construction contracts. Additionally, you will be involved in the preparation of standardized forms and processes, lien waivers, warranty letters, and other miscellaneous documents. Your expertise will also be utilized in tracking insurance compliance to ensure regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of subcontract addendums/riders and other contractual documents.

Track Notices of Subcontracts and prepare payment letters.

Review for compliance and track the status of subcontractor bonds.

Monitor and maintain general contractor's licenses.

Process, redact, and distribute signed contracts efficiently.

Assist with preparing and compiling contract exhibits.

Assist with the preparation of standardized forms and processes.

Prepare lien waivers, warranty letters, and other miscellaneous documents as required.

Track insurance compliance and ensure regulatory adherence.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction, contracting, or insurance is highly advantageous.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in an environment with frequent interruptions.

• Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for legal document management and contract processing.
