This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a skilled Foreign Disclosure Specialist to support our INDOPACOM Customer in Honolulu, HI! Come join our growing team today!

What you will do

  • Prepares and processes foreign disclosure requests and prepare recommendations to the Government for approval or denial per US disclosure policies and guidance

  • Review various products that have been requested for release

  • Ensure that all classified material is appropriately marked

  • Maintain records archive of disclosure requests and decisions, and respond to requests for data

  • Recommend to the Government disclosure or release of information only after conducting technical and substantive reviews of information

  • Advise on foreign disclosure policy and procedures in accordance with the foreign disclosure program

  • Demonstrate ability to explain and apply information from National Disclosure Policy- I and/or IC guidance/directives, to include the latest Controlled Access Program Coordination Office (CAPCO) classification guidance

  • Experience with support function utilizing sophisticated analytical writing techniques to analyze, asses, and evaluate current programs classification management architectures, identifying problem areas, areas of improvement, and developing strategies to resolve issues and future proof the environment

  • Additional duties as assigned or required

What we are looking for

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience

  • Proven understanding of U.S. government foreign disclosure policies and guidance (e.g., National Disclosure Policy-1, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

  • Experience conducting technical and substantive reviews of information for foreign disclosure

  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex classification guidance, including Controlled Access Program Coordination Office (CAPCO) guidance

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify classification management issues and develop solutions

  • Excellent research and writing skills to prepare foreign disclosure requests and recommendations

  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance, with the continued ability to obtain a TS/SCI

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
