Responsibilities In addition to the duties performed by the Custodial Worker NA-3566-1, DA Job Number AL 783, incumbent. Receives group work assignments, assign immediate tasks to Custodial Workers led and gets work started. Checks work in progress and when finished to ensure rooms meet established standards. Assists Custodial Workers with cumbersome or difficult tasks. Assures safety and housekeeping rules are followed. Ensures that supplies and equipment are available for the work group, reports insufficiencies and other problems to the supervisor. Assists in training Custodial Workers; demonstrates proper work methods; explains rules and procedures to follow; answers questions and explains written instructions. Reports progress and training needs to supervisor. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Standard Qualifications: Applicants must possess the ability to read, write and communicate in English. Have work experience providing work instruction or in training other employees. Experience must be listed in your Resume otherwise it will not be considered. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
