Fortive Corporation Senior Corporate Paralegal in Everett, Washington

The Senior Corporate Paralegal is a critical position supporting Fluke’s evolution from traditional hardware-based products to software and AI-enabled workflow solutions and services. As a critical member of the commercial law team, you will support Fluke’s revenue growth and innovation by assisting with contract matters, legal research, litigation management, legal operations, and related activities . This position is based in the Seattle area.

Responsibilities:

· Serve as point of contact (POC) for our internal business clients.

· Provide litigation and pre-litigation management, including litigation holds and preservation of data, collaborating with attorneys on overall organization and management of claims and lawsuits, and assisting with responses to discovery requests.

· Support legal operations through thoughtful application of the Fortive Business System and Lean methodology in:

· driving continuous improvement and sustainment of legal processes and standard work

· leading or supporting legal and compliance readiness projects as assigned

· M&A activities such as post-closing integration

· contributing to legal training needs and initiatives

· performing general and legal research and reporting

  • Partner with our attorneys and contract management team on sales, vendor, and other business contracts in all phases of the contract management lifecycle from contract drafting through negotiation and signature.

    · Perform corporate governance activities, including preparing and filing documentation such as consents and powers of attorney, and maintaining Fluke’s corporate records..

    · Other projects and activities in support of providing efficient and effective legal support to the business.

    Qualifications:

    The successful candidate will bring the following attributes to our team:

  • 8+ years of legal experience in the relevant areas of responsibility

    · Culturally savvy and able to work effectively in a global environment

  • Experience in the following areas would be a plus: data privacy and information security, promotions such as sweepstakes, trade-in, and discount programs, distributor and sales representative regulations, and AI/ML and automation tools. Paralegal certification also a big plus.

Everett, WA: The salary range for this position is $77855 - $144785

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
