Eden Brands Inc., dba EVEREDEN seeks a Chemical Technician in East Rutherford, NJ.Job Duties: Conduct chemical laboratory tests and stability testing in different temperatures to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses. Submit samples to testers, such as preservative efficacy testing (PET), The human repeat insult patch test (HRIPT), etc. Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Prepare chemical solutions for products, following standardized formulas, or create experimental formulas. Compile and interpret results of tests and analyses. Develop new formulas and reformulate existing products. Search and evaluate new interesting raw materials for future projects. Engage in and utilize external research organizations to develop new technology for transfer to the R&D department.Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutics, or related field of study.
