IT Support Specialist Responsibilities:

• Deploying and configuring hardware and software components to guarantee usability.

• Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software glitches.

• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations.

• Repairing or substituting damaged hardware components.

• Updating the system to support compatible software across all devices.

• Installing and updating anti-virus software for user-level security.

• Conducting assessments and trials of new hardware and software.

• Providing user support and serving as the initial contact point for error reporting.

• Cultivating positive relationships with departments and colleagues.

• Executing daily backup procedures.

• Managing technical documentation effectively.

  Requirements

IT Support Specialist Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.

• A+, Linux+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation advantageous.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in database programming and software installation.

• Attention to detail.

• Good problem-solving skills.
