Job Number: R0190901 Systems Analyst and Mission Engineer The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in national security? As a systems analyst, you'll work with a team of other analysts and engineers to assess the next generation of Electronic Warfare (EW) technologies and solutions by employing various modeling and analysis tools to provide the U.S. warfighter dominance of the Radio Frequency spectrum. You'll also use programming skills to build and maintain post-simulation analysis tools and occasionally develop or modify actual digital simulations.You will conduct large scale simulations at the mission level coupled with selected "deep dives" at the engagement level.Your analytical skills will translate voluminous outputs from stochastic simulations into concise reports and graphics supporting a wide range of DoD decision makers. You Have: 3+ years of experience with performing constructive analytical modeling and simulation assessments Experience with MATLAB, Python, Windows, and Linux Experience in data reduction, statistical analysis, and operations research techniques Ability to learn independently Ability to apply operational analysis principles, theories, and concepts to execute study plans and analysis matrices Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Systems Analysis, Operations Research, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science Nice If You Have: Experience in modeling, simulation, and software development in C, C++, and FORTRAN Experience with mission-level modeling and simulation applications, including Suppressor, AFSIM, DIADS, or EADSIM Knowledge of Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS), EW methods and analysis, mission analysis, mission engineering, electronic support, electronic attack, electronic protection, or Radars Possession of self-motivation and team player skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
