Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Corona, California

Description We are seeking a skilled HR Manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes in our Construction/Contractor industry. This position will be based in Corona, California. The HR Manager will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. This opportunity offers a chance to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, including job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, talent management, and facilities management services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.

• Manage the recruitment and selection process.

• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

• Maintain pay plan and benefits program.

• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

• Manage relationships with external partners like benefits vendors and technology suppliers.

• Oversee and manage HR team including recruitment staff and potentially payroll in the future.

Skills:

• Proficiency in HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems and Paychex.

• Knowledge of construction industry.

• Strong ability in building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

• Competence to build and effectively manage an HR team.

• Experience with Employee Relations and holding a University Degree. Requirements • Possess a university degree in human resources, business administration, or related field

• Proven experience in the construction or contractor industry

• Profound knowledge and experience with HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems

• Familiarity with Paychex software or similar HR management systems

• Excellent understanding of employee relations and its impact on the workforce

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

• Proficient in labor law and HR best practices

• Proven ability to manage the recruitment and selection process

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated ability to foster healthy employee relations.
