Basic Job Functions:

The role of Project Electrician primarily focuses on completing new construction projects & supporting projects mill wide. The role will consist of specifying & implementing electrical solutions in non-production areas. The successful candidate will use sound electrical principles & practices, project leadership, and utilize design software to interpret schematics safely & accurately. The successful candidate will be responsible for specifying, estimating, quoting & implementing new projects. The successful candidate must be willing to obtain and maintain necessary certifications as a part of this role. This position may require working nights and weekends depending on projects and the needs of the mill. [[cust_safetyState]]

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2-years industrial electrical experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Understanding and applying the National Electrical Code

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 or more years of industrial electrical experience

• 2- or 4-year engineering or technical degree

• Experience with leading a team

• Prior experience in the steel industry

• Prior experience in the electrical construction industry

• Understanding of copper & fiber optic network requirements
