Title:

Electrical Engineer

• Responsible for study, design, specification, reverse engineering, and services related to electrical and electronic systems including power supplies, generators, motors, power systems performance and control, cabling and wiring, circuit card assemblies, specialized electromechanical devices, etc.

• Under direct supervision, able to perform all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter.

• Devises and suggests new approaches to problems encountered. Conducts work requiring independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

• Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice and complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.

  Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.

• Minimum five (5) years of industry experience.

• Must be able to obtain Secret security clearance.

  Preferred Skills

• Proficient understanding and working knowledge of LabView/LabWindows CVI, SolidWorks Electrical, NI Circuit Design Pro, power simulation software, and programming languages,

• Experience and knowledge of reliability, maintainability, and supportability challenges due to aging and obsolete components.

• Knowledge and understanding experience with root cause analysis.

  Other Details

• Full time, 80% on site, remote 20% (Hybrid)

• Travel will be required 10% of the time

• Candidate must have effective verbal and written communication skills; must be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences or facilitate group discussions; develop accurate written materials to communicate information clearly and concisely.
