University of Virginia Critical Care Cardiologist - Open Rank in Charlottesville, Virginia

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, seeks candidates for an open rank, open track, Non-Invasive Cardiologist(s) with a focus on critical care cardiology to join its expanding Cardiology Division. Rank and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications. The University of Virginia is a leading center in cardiovascular care, especially advanced cardiovascular care in the intensive care setting. The incumbents will be responsible for providing critical care services in the coronary care unit. Participation in general, non-invasive, cardiovascular services will be expected, as well as inpatient and outpatient general cardiology services. The candidates will actively participate in the teaching program with cardiology fellows and medical house staff. Opportunities for research that is commensurate with experience and interest are available.

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and be board certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine and board certified or eligible in Critical Care. Rank and tenure status will be determined depending upon qualifications.

The successful candidate will pass a background check and pre-employment health/drug screening.
