Carlisle Interconnect Technologies International Business Operations Manager in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) is seeking a passionate International Business Operations Manager to join our Sales team at our Headquarters located in Carlisle, PA. The primary function of this role is to Support the Director of Carlisle International Operations (CIO) and be the voice of CIO throughout the campus in Carlisle. You will represent the interests of CIO and will drive co-ordination between all departments and our CIO business. As a local resource will represent CIO at various internal meetings when CIO's voice is needed. Very limited international travel will be required with the expectation that less than 5% of the BM-CIO's time will be spent outside of the office. Travel required approximately 5%.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner and interface with Pricing, Product Management, Customer Service, R&D, Production, Finance and other departments to proactively be the voice of CIO.
  • Gather international market feedback and propose ideas to grow international business.
  • Create a master document of all international competitive data. Gather market info and be an inside ear to international customers, distributors and reps.
  • Gain familiarity with all Carlisle departments and become proficient at cross functional duties & collaborative long term problem solving.
  • Liaison for all international business/customers and internal CCM departments
  • Work with customer service on all international customer service & product issues.
  • Partner with Product Management on all NPD for international business.
  • Work cross functionally and manage large projects that impact international business.
  • Provide International technical sales support.
  • Coordinate w/ marketing on key events

  • Attend all internal International R&D meetings.
  • Support our international involvement with IIBEC. Be an internal resource for International Trade Association involvement to expand CCM knowledge base and potential best practices.
  • Work closely with the Director -- CIO on compiling international competitive pricing and interact with the International Pricing Team on a regular basis for quote generation and standard international pricing.
  • Working with the marketing team and Director - CIO, help develop international brand strategy and roll out of new products
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of a new international account onboarding program.
  • Assist with the annual rebate data review.
  • Proactively work with Finance/Credit team to review any outstanding credit issues and discuss new market strategy
  • Represent international interest on Kaizens & leading follow-up actions related to international.
  • Partner with Talent Development & Training department as well as the Technical Training department to set up International training events
  • Provide consistent communication to all international customers, Director-CIO, international internal team, international reps and distributors.
  • Assist in the scheduling and sustainment of all international territory development plans.
  • Through data analytics, assist with sales forecasting including forecast/plan monthly update for accounting and others in senior management.
  • Be present and represent international at Senior Management planning meetings priority and quarterly review meetings in place of the Director -- CIO as required.
  • Assist with international presentation preparation.
  • Partner with Design Services teams on BIM creation, international code approval, and tapered design drawings.

Education and Experience:

  • 4 year degree in a related field or commensurate applicable sales/business experience
  • 5 + years of experience within commercial construction and/or building materials industry.
  • Previous commercial roofing and sales and/ or sales management experience a plus
  • Proven demonstrated success as a consultative seller
