SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Working with the Penn State Health System Director of Supply Operations, the facility supply and logistics manager is responsible for the resources, logistics, inventory management and support of the supply customers at the facility. This includes responsibility to manage the people, processes and technology to support the facility in delivering best in class solutions to our customers. Analyze and supervise the entire flow of product including; all in-bound, out-bound freight and deliveries, the storage, and the transportation of all materials and inventory to ensure prompt delivery to the customer. Develop and maintain policies on general logistics and procedures to maintain overall inventory based on demand. Verify all equipment is appropriately maintained and operated efficiently. Responsible to collect, verify and provide specific regulatory information as directed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge required
Seven (7) years effective experience required
Five (5) years of experience in supply chain management required
Four (4) years in a supervisory or leadership role required
Professional certification CRMP required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer to role
Haz Mat Certification required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer to role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Master's Degree in business or supply chain management preferred.
Supply Chain & Logistics experience in healthcare/pharmacy/lab environment.
