IBM IBM Internship - Process specialist in Bucharest, Romania

Your Role and Responsibilities

Service Management - Process Coordinator

The Service Management - Process Coordinator assists process owners in optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery and support. This ensures that both the customer and the service provider derive value from all operational services managed including those in the preparation phase for operational deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a central point of contact for coordinating activities and communication between different functional teams involved in transversal processes under the Process Owner governance. Ensure that activities are executed in a synchronized manner to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Engage with key stakeholders, process owners, and business representatives, to gather requirements, address concerns, and gain buy-in for transversal process initiatives. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate understanding and collaboration.

  • Develop training materials and conduct awareness sessions to educate staff members about transversal processes, their importance, and their impact on service delivery. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure adherence to process standards and best practices.

  • Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of transversal processes. Analyze performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

  • Work closely with process owners to assess the impact of proposed changes on transversal processes and ensure that changes are implemented in a controlled and coordinated manner. Mitigate risks associated with process changes and ensure minimal disruption to service delivery.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Last year student or fresh graduate of a technical faculty: Cybernetics, Computer Science, Mathematics etc.

  • Logical thinking and problem solving abilities;

  • Teamwork, good communication skills (both written and spoken);

  • English advanced

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

ITIL knowledge is a plus.
