Overview

We are looking for a Director of Sales Enablement to lead a motivated team focused on empowering the Intuit Global Sales organization. In this role, you will transform and scale our Sales Enablement initiatives to maximize the effectiveness of our sales organization. Your mission will be to ensure that sellers are equipped with the training, tools, content, and “work backwards methodology” to power customer success and solve customer challenges. You will play a pivotal role in driving alignment between our go-to-market strategies and sales execution mechanisms putting the strength of the Intuit ecosystem to work on behalf of our customers. You will develop and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy to support the entire Global Sales Organization including lead demand generation, inbound/outbound, account management, partners and sales operations.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a high-performing sales environment with at least 5 years in sales enablement or an equivalent leadership role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills for establishing success criteria and determining ROI of enablement initiatives and sales effectiveness programs.

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.

  • Proficient at building cohesive teams in a matrixed environment amongst product, marketing, sales and technology to deliver end-to-end sales enablement content and programs.

  • Experience leading large-scale enablement initiatives across high velocity inside/outside sales and mid-market teams, inclusive of Account Management and net-new logo acquisition.

  • Deep understanding of outcome-based, value-driven sales methodologies and account management strategies in the tech industry.

  • Mentorship and modeling the skills and behaviors to lead with a clear vision, build a high-performance culture and drive winning results.

  • Experience with best-in-class CRM software, LMS and sales enablement platforms inclusive of GenAI.

  • Experience with SaaS-focused sales organizations; finance, payments & payroll application experience preferred.

How you will lead

Critical Capabilities and Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking and Visioning: Ability to develop long-term strategies for capability development and organizational enablement that align with Intuit’s business goals. This includes looking around corners and foreseeing future challenges and opportunities in the business environment and planning accordingly. Proven ability to create and execute on one and three-year strategic plans.

  • Leadership and Influence: Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate the enablement team and other stakeholders. Must possess the ability to influence across all levels of the organization, from subject matter experts to the executive team, to drive business objectives. Develop trusted partnerships with sales leadership, marketing, product, and other key stakeholders to proactively identify enablement needs and optimize implementation. Establish and maintain efficient mechanisms for delivering and maintaining sales-ready training content.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for this role. This includes being able to clearly articulate the vision, strategy, and value of enablement initiatives to stakeholders and to persuade and align diverse group of stakeholders.

  • Change Leader: Proficiency in managing change, including being the catalyst and leading an organization through change initiatives smoothly and effectively. This involves understanding how people go through change and the change process; including managing resistance to change.

  • Extreme Ownership: Lead the Enablement organization supporting the full Intuit ecosystem of products. And like the sales leaders, the Sales Enablement Director will be responsible for sales results and contributing to those results through sales learning, development and enablement strategies and tactics.

  • Global Alignment & Influence: Develop and execute the strategic direction for Sales Enablement across all countries and business units where Intuit has sales teams to ensure strategic alignment and serve as the bridge between strategy and execution for Sales Enablement priorities. Work across the broader Intuit learning community to share best practices, identify scale and achieve overall business goals. Join other HR professionals to assess and implement development programs and training initiatives to support organizational strategies.

  • Technical Acumen and Data Driven: Leverage data and analytics to optimize Sales Enablement’s ROI for driving intended results for sales and customers. Sponsor the adoption of and leverage cutting-edge technology, including use of GenAI and new or existing learning platforms to assess and further the progress.

  • Talent Development: Serve as role model and teacher of Intuit Frameworks such as Intuit’s values, Craft Skills, Leadership Playbook and performance management mechanisms. Advocate for the right mix of talent for the community beyond direct teams, while developing talent succession plan across all levels and across all teams.
