Description:

• The Quality Inspector will perform receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans. The Inspector will perform inspections of aircraft parts and certify the parts under FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 21 specifications before shipping them out to customers using a SAP software.

• Review, analyze, and approve aerospace articles that have been maintained under FAA/EASA/TCCA regulations and/or received special certification processes.Issue Discrepancy Reports and Unserviceable Tags on non-conforming material. Monitor and follow up of storage conditions on all Spares material. Assist in the resolution of customer complaints concerning Proprietary Parts and Supplier quality problems.

Qualifications:

• 5 - 7 years of aviation maintenance experience and knowledge of aircraft operations, systems, and practices OR 5 - 7 years of manufacturing experience under one of the following: FAA FAR Part 21, EASA Part 21G TCCA Part 21.

• Familiarity with aircraft or aerospace quality control

• Experience reading blueprints

• Experience using measuring tools

• A&P license or military maintenance certification (9120) preferred

• Valid passport and drivers license

Work Enviroment:

• Start on first shift and move to second shift
