Amazon Senior Analyst, Global Service Compliance in Arlington, Virginia

Description

We are seeking a stellar senior analyst to join the Global Service Compliance (GSC) team supporting Amazon’s Project Kuiper. Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Key job responsibilities

As a Sr. Analyst for Kuiper GSC, you will maintain up-to-date information regarding multiple ISP compliance subject matter areas, including revenue and subscribership, as well as various process paths. You will use this knowledge to drive efficiency and productivity by detecting risk and working with peers in GSC to mitigate against them. You will collaborate with peers to implement and modify relevant systems to manage performance testing and execute relevant testing. You will meet any assigned key performance indicators for testing and quality reviews, and prepare risk assessment and mitigation reports as directed.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience handling confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience

  • Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials

  • Experience with SQL and Excel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
