What You Will Do :

Guidehouse is looking for a Cloud project manager with cloud strategy, migration, and engineering experience to join our team. As part of a PMO team responsible for delivering a range of dynamic solutions for a federal client with global stakeholders, the IT Project Manager is responsible for coordinating with multiple stakeholders (business owners, development team members, cloud architects, etc.); defining requirements; identifying process improvements; managing scope, schedule, and risk; and reporting project status to stakeholders. The Cloud Project Manager will also support a cloud integration/migration effort for customer’s legacy systems. They will collaborate with the client to understand their unique cloud requirements and help support the rollout of any defined cloud strategy. Experience working in a federal IT organization is preferred, as well as experience with Agile Scrum in Azure DevOps, and other IT frameworks and approaches.

What You Will Need :

  • An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • THREE (3) or more years of experience supporting technology projects.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • TWO (2) or more years experience directly supporting IT modernization initiatives in a Project Manager role.

  • THREE (3) or more years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and/or managing cloud infrastructure solutions.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Cloud certifications.

  • Agile certifications.

  • Familiarity with federal security standards and compliance requirements, particularly FedRAMP

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and security protocols

  • Experience applying critical thinking and structured processes to help clients navigate uncertainty and solve complex problems

  • Possess a combination of strategic, technical, and interpersonal skills to effectively advise clients on the planning, adoption, and management of cloud services

  • Ability to identify and develop solutions to meet client needs

  • Experience using Agile Scrum to plan and manage work against iterations and releases 

  • Experience using Azure DevOps or a similar agile project management tracking tool

  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders of varying levels to gather, document, prioritize, and analyze system specifications and user requirements, working closely with developers and testers in a fast-paced environment 

  • Demonstrated ability to use effective facilitation skills and techniques
